The said raise shall be deemed as part of the worker’s job wage and shall be added thereto as of 1/3/2024. Deduction thereof shall be according to type-5 “job wage”, item – 1 “permanent jobs”, the first group “wages, cash and in-kind allowances” of the budget of each entity. Article 2: The periodic raise payable to the state civil servants who are not addressed by the Civil Service Law, referred to, as prescribed by article (2) of the aforesaid law no. 9 of the year 2024, shall fall due on 1/3/2024. The special raise prescribed by article (2) of the aforesaid law no. 9 of the year 2024, payable to the state civil servants who are not addressed by the Civil Service Law, due on 1/3/2024, shall be calculated at the rate of (15%) of the basic wage payable to each of them or its equivalent of the comprehensive remuneration on 29/2/2024, or on the date of appointment for those appointed after that date, at a minimum limit of L.E. 150 monthly with no maximum limit. The said raise shall be deemed as part of the worker’s basic wage and shall be added thereto as of 1/3/2024. Deduction thereof shall be according to type-1 “basic salaries”, item-1 “permanent jobs”, the first group “wages, cash and in-kind allowances” of the budget of each entity. Article 3: The provision of article (2) of the present decree shall not apply to the workers at the general service authorities and the general economic authorities, and other public juridical persons, that disburse the annual periodic raise to the workers thereat at a rate not less than (10%) of the job wage.
