The permit shall be issued, in response to an application submitted by the importer or his agent, on the relevant form prepared by the Organization. The application should indicate the country of origin and the quantities to be imported. Import permits shall be issued within two working days from the date of filing applications. There should be coordination between the Organization and Agricultural Quarantine to specify the countries of origin from which imports are permissible.
